Fast Company brings Impact Council to the Middle East, an invitation-only collective of innovative leaders and the most creative people in business. A business think tank with the most inventive founders, thinkers, energetic CEOs, designers and artists, and visionaries—coming together to share knowledge, ideas, and perspectives on business, society, innovation, and design.

This group meets several times as sub-committees for discussions on some of our time’s most significant opportunities and most pressing challenges. Council members gather for open discussions and roundtables aimed at highlighting members’ viewpoints on the most urgent business and societal issues of the day.

Curated by Fast Company Middle East, these intimate gatherings offer an opportunity to mingle, ideate, and build relationships with council members and special guests. Past speakers include prominent names such as actress and producer Michelle Pfeiffer, co-chairman and co-founder of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, President at Qualcomm Cristiano Amon, and more.

AI sub-committee, in partnership with BCG, will deliberate on a wide range of topics on the impact AI will have on humanity. By changing how companies work, can AI accelerate climate action through its impact in reducing carbon footprints and energy efficiency?

Speaking about this partnership, Elias Baltassis, Partner & Director and BCG GAMMA Lead for the Middle East said, “This partnership carries immense potential to drive sustainable solutions using Responsible Artificial Intelligence as a digital enabler. At BCG, we believe AI can empower organizations to measure, reduce, track, and report their environmental footprint at scale—and to collaborate across the supply chain along with sound decision making. We look forward to sharing our expertise on AI with business leaders across various verticals and public sectors.”

“The FC Impact Council and the sub-committee on AI are significant steps for us. The expertise, acumen, and perspectives of our members form a blueprint for Fast Company’s coverage across 2022 and beyond”, says Ravi Raman, the publisher of Fast Company Middle East.
